If you backed up your files, they can now be restored to the machine. Just go to Settings > Update & Security >. When you return to Windows 10, you'll see that whatever you selected to be removed has been wiped from the machine. You can restore your laptop to the factory settings via Reset this PC if you are running Windows 10. Your computer will restart, and after several minutes, it will boot back up again. First of all, press the Windows Logo Key + L button to lock Windows 10. Finally, click Reset to actually commit.If you selected Keep my files, you can look at a list of apps that will be removed with the reset. Once you decide what should be removed from the computer, hit Next and Windows will tell you what will be deleted before you make a final decision.Click the Change settings link and toggle the Data erasure option to on. If you choose Remove everything, there's also a way to remove your personal files while saving apps and settings. A list of Update & Security options will now appear in the left-hand pane. When you’re ready to factory reset your Windows 10 PC, open the Windows Settings menu by clicking on the Start button and then selecting the Gear icon. If you choose Keep my files, apps and settings will default to what they were when the PC was brand new. Select Troubleshoot after the machine reboots, then Advanced options. Click on the Recovery option, and under the Advanced startup section, select Restart now.
